Founded on the loins of true Italian roots in the late 70’s, Casa Rugantino was originally a small pizza shop.
The popular restaurant was then bought by another Italian family who owned it for more than 20 years. They helped to evolve Casa Rugantino from a pizza shop to a full-service restaurant.
In 2009, the original owners (the Trotta family) was in for dinner and overheard the current owners talking about selling the restaurant. The Trotta’s leaped at the opportunity to buy back the restaurant their father had started.
Continuing the tradition of hand-made Italian food using classic family recipes, you can expect to find a passion for both authenticity and local ingredients. The Trotta family celebrates through food what is important – family and friends, as if you are a guest in their home.
